A company dedicated to enhancing the user experience
Globally, 245 million are playing and 30 Billion in revenue as of 2025
The Mark
Fantasy sports is a social game at its core. You're not the one catching that game winning touchdown pass and you're not colliding at high speeds tearing ligaments in your knee. You are building a fake team to and using real life stats to compete against your friends in what has become a massive game within the game of real life sports. 85 million people are playing this annually (and increasing), competing in small groups and this experience is a perfect balance of intellectual stimulation and forming strategies in your very own social environment. If you've played fantasy sports on any platform you know this is an area with plenty of room to grow and an opportunity is sitting there for a company to create a superior platform to host these competitive social interactions. This hypothetical company should have a founder and CEO that has played the game for 20 years and knows firsthand what platforms are missing in this regard. This company is no longer hypothetical, it's called RiVL fantasy sports and these social enhancements could attract a significant percentage of 85 million users.
If the game of fantasy sports creates a social environment for small groups of friends, then it's only fitting to have the freedom to customize this environment as much as possible. If you bring a group to the platform and want to start a league, you will find RiVL has more custom options than anything that currently exists. This means rules and this also means the games themselves. If you are a traditionalist, then by all means play the game the same way you play it now. RiVL fantasy sports will have unique options waiting for you if you ever get intrigued to do something different. Dynasty, Keeper and Redraft. Let's be honest though, have the existing platforms really done all 3 formats well?
At the current stage of development, its a liability for RiVL to share the specific details of what we are building. If you'd like to be notified when RiVL has updates to announce please message us and share your email!
Here's a scenario, you check your phone on the existing fantasy platform you use, you see who you're playing in fantasy this week. It's a buddy who is always a tough matchup. They've been a thorn in your side for years. You see on the matchup tab, all your players lined up against theirs and the projected points to be scored (projections that always seem to be wrong by the way) and you also see then real life teams your players are playing against. That's it.
Now picture you're on the RiVL platform and you go to the same matchup tab to see who you're playing, same buddy that's been a thorn in your side for years. Before your eyes scroll down to see your players lined up against theirs, you see what your record is in your last 3 games and you also see same for their team. You see what your all time record is against this buddy and you realize after 12 years you've won 10 times and they've also won 10 times. This is a game to take a lead in the series. You also realize even though the all time matchups are tied at 10, they've outscored you 3,689 to 3, 306.
Then you see projections have you winning by 48 points and you feel good because the last 3 games the projections were pretty darn close and you trust RiVL's algorithmic stat projection models.
This is just an example of how stats can be customized on the RiVL platform to tell a story you want to tell.
The culture of fantasy has evolved, there is no debating that. Existing platforms host leagues, but there are multiple layers that are so much part of the culture it only makes sense to put them in one place. These things include gambling with your friends, creating video content at live draft events or remote connection, listening to fantasy sports radio to get expert takes on who to "start or sit", video highlights of the games themselves that result in fantasy wins/losses and an outlet for social debate. The list can go on and on but what's needed is a platform that the user can really access it all in one place. Not just links, but an intuitive user friendly and fun way to get everything you need in one place. Even offering rewards and incentives for users who don't leave the platform to access these other features somewhere else.
Stop creating text threads for your league outside the platform. Stop collecting money outside the platform. Stop looking for breaking sports stories on other websites. Stop debating with other fans on social platforms like Twitter. The platform where you can do it all in one place is RiVL.
